Jenny McCarthy & Son Evan Meet Up Evan's Dad John Asher

Looks like 5 year old Evan Asher's helicopter crashed on his way to meet up with his dad, John Asher. Mom Jenny McCarthy has that "oh no" look on her face, but her hands are full carrying a pizza.

In September 2007 Jenny released her book, "Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism". In the book Jenny opens up about Evan's battle with autism. Has anyone read it?

I read it, and have met Jenny before. It's very well done, and written from the heart. You feel her agony throughout the book.

I disagree with a lot of the claims in the book regarding autism, and vaccinations, but she does make a HUGE point that they are HER opinions, and you don't have to agree with her,

I haven't read it, but I've read a number of comments on it and exerpts of the book. It's drawing a lot of negative criticism from people who work with or are parents to autistic children, actually, for lots of specific reasons. The biggest criticism I've seen is that Jenny is pushing various kinds of interventions that are medically highly questionable.

But, as I said, I haven't read it, so I can't say, firsthand.
